Welcome to John Cooper Academy, a NEW original boarding school roleplay. We accept students ages nine through eighteen! Right now there's no fixed real plot but once we get new members and the site rolling steadily we'll have one! We have a mini-plot; a love web. This is where the entrance of the school is. There's actually a reception desk where students must swipe their I.D. cards every time they enter. There are golden leather couches and armchairs in front of a fire; students sometimes hang out here if the dorm common rooms are too full. The floor is tiled and a shiny black color with a few golden splashes here and there; there's a giant chandelier hanging...but if you look up at the chandelier, you see stairs surrounding it--the ceiling is wayy high up and people from higher levels can look down from stairs and balcony-like spots to see the Atrium. The Atrium is also an easy way to get to the elevator for higher and lower levels; the Dining Hall is located right down the hall.
DiNiNG HALL This is where the students eat all of their meals. It's a huge hall with a beautiful red, gold-rimmed carpet over shining cherry wood. Long wood tables lie under a high cream ceiling. A huge crystal chandelier hangs in the middle of the room. The doors to the kitchens are to the left of the huge main doors to the Hall. Moderator: a l e x :: r e n a u l t ϖ
CLASSROOMS This is where all classes take place. Sub-boards are the classes. To sign up for a class, look in that sub-board for the teacher's sign-up sheet.
LiBRARY This huge room contains armchairs, couches, and of course thousands of books. Educational and non-educational. It's huge yet cozy, with quite a few fireplaces for those times in the middle of the winter when one just wants to snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate and a few romance novels.
MAiN OFFiCE Your typical school office except much fancier and larger; where you find the secretary. The headmaster/mistress's office and guidance office are in here.

NURSES OFFiCE The school nurse is available through all of the day, and on most weekends. The room is wide with a few chairs dotted about and a huge cupboard where the nurse keeps her medicine. Moderators: a l e x :: r e n a u l t ϖ, ۞ Carmen ۞ , ~*Anne Lieb*~
CENTRAL COURTYARD This is where the school's largest and prettiest courtyard is. It's located right in the middle of the school, hence its name. In the middle is a stone platform, and it's surrounded by colorful flowers. A huge oak shelters a few benches. Very romantic at night.
FRONT GATE This is the main entrance of the school. The long driveway is also here; the huge black gates are electronic and guarded constantly by two men in black suits and sunglasses.....remember, they have guns. This, and the security cameras and alarms, is the reason JCA is never, ever broken into.
THE BEACH This is the main hang-out spot during late spring and summer, for both students and teachers. The rolling blue waves are inspiration for surfers, and great tans have been made lying on the white sand. Nearby there are three pools, one for swimming, one for leisure, and one huge indoor pool with everything included--slides, etc. Moderator: a l e x :: r e n a u l t ϖ
THE OUTDOOR COURTS && FiELDS This is where sports courts and fields are - for tennis, basketball, lacrosse, soccer--any sport you can think of! [Except for swimming...that's in the pools]. This is located BEHIND the school. Moderator: a l e x :: r e n a u l t ϖ
TEACHERS' DORMS If Teachers at John Cooper don't have a home close by they can have a room of their own. Each dorm has a bedroom, bathroom and sometimes a kitchen if they prefer to make their own food. Pupils can come here but they normally choose not to.
THE TOWN The small town of Gerneville lays about 15 minutes away from John Coopers. Its on the beach as well as the school which gets attractive to alot of the pupils at John Coopers. Moderators: a l e x :: r e n a u l t ϖ, ~*Anne Lieb*~ , ۞ Carmen ۞
